Description
Our mugs stand out from the crowd with their distinctive rim. The rim of the mug is curved, which makes it more comfortable to drink out of, and is known as a rolled rim in enamel terms. This is where our “mug with rolled rim” gets its name from.
What really matters, though, is that the pretty enamel mug warms cold fingers and preserves the pure taste of punch, mulled wine, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The non-porous, smooth, bacteria-inhibiting glass surface ensures this. The mug has a comfortable side-handle.
Enamel is made from iron that was fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials. Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Use
You can also use the mug to heat up your drink on any kind of stove, including induction. However, it should only be used with a small flame as the diameter of the bottom of the mug is very small. When warming up milk, be sure to add a little water to stop the milk from burning.
The enamel mug is also a perfect, indestructible companion to keep you nice and warm on your next camping trip.
Tips
The mugs are also available in the following colours and designs: pastel, colour, white, green stag, red stag, blue with white spots (polka-dot blue) and our Almliesl motif. The belly-shaped mugs are also available in the Gmunder floral pattern design.
Another way to enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate is with our enamel coffee cups. They can hold 0.4 litres of liquid and also some in a variety of colours and patterns, including white, pastel, green stag and red stag.
