Description
Our stewpots with lids are available in white and in our green stag design. The stewpots have the classic, straight-sided shape and two enamel handles. The white version of the pot comes in five different sizes, and the green stag version of the pot comes in two.
The lid of the pot fits perfectly and acts as an energy monitor. As soon as the lid begins to rattle, it’s time to reduce the heat and save energy. The heat can even be completely turned off around 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, depending on the type of cooker, as enamel retains heat for a long time. We strongly recommend that you use potholders when removing the pot and lid as the enamel handles also retain the heat. However, the advantage of the enamel handles is that you can also simply slide the pot into the oven to keep warm without worrying about if the pot will be damaged in any way. The casserole features a robust chrome rim.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.

Use
The stewpot is a tall type of pot and is therefore ideal for large quantities of food that have lots of liquid, such as soups, boiled meat dishes like boiled beef and dumplings, stews and even ragouts, pasta, vegetables, potatoes and much more.
Tips
Alongside the stewpot, there are also saucepans, saucepans with a spout, jugs, whistling kettles, bowls, mixing bowls, enamel dishes, tea cups and much, much more in the classic white and in our green stag design. This means that you can put together your own individual kitchenware set from the extensive RIESS range and continue to add to it. The designs can also be perfectly combined depending on your own personal taste. For example, the items in the green stag design can be combined with items in the red stag design and both can also always be combined with items from our Classic White range.
